Huawei Matepad 10.4 design and specifications revealed

Apple and Windows have always dominated the tablet segment for years with Android lagging far behind. But, This year the much-awaited Huawei Matepad 10.4 has started to surface. It is now listed on Chinese websites like JD.com and VMall. The new MatePad 10.4 is a full package with high-end specifications in a very classy design. Sources reveal that the device will be launched in the last week of April this year.

Specifications

Hardware-wise Huawei may have completely nailed this time. The MatePad 10.4 consists of a 10.4” display with 4/6 GB RAM and 64/128 GB storage. Rumors show that this device will come with Huawei’s own Kirin chipset and It will run on EMUI 10.1 Lite out of the box. The device has a sleek design with 7.1 – 9 mm thickness and weighs only 0.81kg.

In the connectivity front, The MatePad 10.4 will launch with Wi-Fi and LTE variants. The Wi-Fi-based model will have 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. The LTE based model will have only 6GB/128GB configuration only.

The images surfaced to show that The MatePad 10.4 will come up with a stylus and the camera setup shows two cameras- front and back. Images reveal that the MatePad 10.4 will have the power button located at the top and the USB-C port located at the bottom.

Audio technology giant Harmon and Kardon is providing the audio support for the new Huawei MatePad 10.4. As a result, The tablet will also have better quality audio enhancements.

The MatePad consists of a massive 7,250 mAH battery so that, it can handle all the processing of the day.

Price

The company has not revealed the price of Huawei MatePad 10.4 yet. But, all the tech-savvy people out there, you can pre-book the device on JD.com and VMall for CNY 100 ($14/€13).
