Intel launched its 10th Gen Ice Lake processor based on 10 nm

Intel launched a family of 10 Gen core processor based on 10nm ‘Ice Lake’ architecture. It is intel’s first 10nm processor. Intel 10th Gen processor core family’s first product will be U-series and Y-series designed for common and thin and light laptops respectively. Intel launched line up of 11 new processors across its tiers, Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7. These new processors will available in the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year.

As Intel promise, ‘Ice Lake’ family will not only improve the performance but also have better-integrated graphics. These processors have new Artificial Intelligence. These Intel 10th Gen processor will have integrated Thunderbolt 3 controllers and best in class Wi-Fi 6. According to Intel, the integrated GPU of Gen11 will give better performance since Skylake architecture was introduced in2015. Intel says these processors capable of 4K 60fps HDR video as well as better gaming and pro content editing performance.

Learning Boost instruction set is the highlight of Intel’s new 10th gen processor which increase more kind of AI workload by up to 2.5 percent. Those laptops have these processors will have 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports and first time will support LPDD4 RAM.

Later this year, Over 35 laptops will come with the new 10th Gen Core processors.
