KTM Duke 125 BS6 launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.70 Lakh onwards Ex-showroom Delhi which is 8,800 costly than the older 125cc Duke. This Duke 125 is as similar from the new Duke 200. KTM company said that this is the new 2022 variant of Duke 125. From the look wise some changes are there like- subframe, a new support brace of engine, and redesigned swing arm. The on road price of Duke 125 in Patna is Rs. 1.95 Lakh onwards.
Engine and Transmission
Talking about the engine of KTM Duke 125 BS6 comes with liquid-cooled engine, that produces 14.9PS at 9,250RPM and 12NM of peak torque at 8000RPM. The engine is mated with 6-speed gearbox. Company claims that in this bike there is no power drops a compare to BS4 model. In this price point there is lack of slipper clutch this is not a value for money bike. Because in this price has also better options in 150cc motorcycle.

Duke 125 BS6 continue with the same WP 43mm inverted front from and the WP mono shock at the rear similar to BS4 Model. In BS6 compliant is similar to the KTM Duke 200 BS6. It comes with a full-LCD instrument cluster which displays speed, tachometer, fuel level, range, average speed, etc. It has the sharp design with a halogen headlamps, LED winkers, and Tail light. The underbelly exhaust is quite sounds well in hight revs. Talking about the safety features it comes with 300mm front disc brakes with radial caliper and a single-channel ABS in front for a great braking appeal. And a 230mm rear disc that is not an ABS.

Therefore In my point of view this bike is better than the older one, but in this price point we get much more better than the KTM Duke 125. This bike is competes with Yamaha R15 BS6, MT-15, Suzuki Gixxer 150, etc.
