Oppo A12 unveiled With MediaTek P35 SoC

Oppo announced its new lower mid-range Oppo A12 smartphone with a 6.22-inch display, Helio P35 SoC and 4,230 mAh battery. It comes in a diamond-cut like the design on the back, so it looks premium.

The smartphone is listed on Oppo Global website, however, the region availability and pricing is yet to be known. It has 6.22-inches HD+ display with a drop notch design, so you achieve a screen-to-body-ratio of 89%. It also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display protection.

The Oppo A12 comes with MediaTek Helio P35 Chipset and 3GB or 4GB RAM with 32GB or 64GB storage. It has IMG GE8320 GPU and also a microSD expansion of up to 256GB.

The smartphone comes with dual rear cameras, which is a 13MP (f/2.2 aperture) lens, and 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) for depth-sensing. It also AI-powered rear cameras and feature AI beautification, portrait and support video recording of up to 1080p at 30fps. On the front, you get a 5MP (f/2.4 aperture) camera in the dewdrop notch design.

Oppo A12 comes with a 4230mAh battery with microUSB connector and ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Connectivity, LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and OTG. The smartphone has a fingerprint unlock on the back and AI face unlock. It is available in regular Blue and Black color variants.


IDR 2,499,000 ($160/INR 12,365) price for the 4/64GB model.
