ROG Phone 2 Arrived in India with Snapdragon 855+ SoC

ROG Phone 2 has arrived in India. This is the 2nd generation gaming phone from Asus. This phone launched at the event held in New Delhi on Monday. Asus ROG phone 2 is powered by Snapdragon 855+ SoC bundled with 12GB of LPDDR4 RAM. ROG 2 also comes with In-Display fingerprint, Ultrasonic air Triggers 2 for gaming.

ROG Phone 2 Specifications

This phone comes with a 6.59-inch full-HD AMOLED display (1080 x 2340 pixels) with the refresh rate of 120HZ, so the Gaming experience will even better than previous ROG Phone. The display of this phone comes with the support of 10-bit HDR support, 240HZ touch-sensing and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6.

ROG phone 2 runs on ROG UI which is based on Android Pie. It comes with the powerful Snapdragon 855+ SoC (7mm) with 8GB and 12GB RAM and Storage of 128GB and 512GB respectively.

Coming to the camera at the back phone there is a dual-camera setup. It features a 48MP, f/1.8 primary camera and a 13MP, f/2.4 wide-angle camera with 125-degrees viewing angle. At the front, there is 24, f/2.2 MP camera for Selfie.

This phone features an In-Display fingerprint for unlocking, so you can unlock your phone directly from tapping the screen. The new Asus ROG 2 comes with the support of Air Trigger 2, so your gaming experience will be as like gaming console. It comes with 6,000 mAh battery with support of Quick charge 4.0 fast charging

Availability And Price

The price of the base variant of this new Asus phone is Rs.37,999 for 8GB + 128 storage and it will go on sale via Flipkart on September 30. The higher variant is 12GB + 512GB and its price is Rs. 59,999.

If we talk about accessories, Asus launched, the Mobile Desktop station and ROG Kunai Gamepad will be available at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively, while TwinView Dock priced at Rs. 19,999. The ROG 30W charger will also be sold separately priced at Rs. 1,999.
