Sony Xperia 5 launched at IFA 2019. The Xperia 5 has a stunning 21:9 CinemaWide display, a triple rear camera lens, and Snapdragon 855 SoC. The phone has a 3,140mAh battery and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. This smartphone comes with Dolby Atmos sound and HDR display, so you can best experience in gaming and watching movies. The phone also has water and dust resistant with IP65/68 rated design, No matter where you go, water and dust won’t stand a chance against the Xperia 5.

The Xperia 5 comes with 6.1-inch full-HD+ (1080×2520 pixels) OLED display with 21:9 aspect ratio. It’s protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC packed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB UFS memory. You can also expand storage using a microSDXC card (up to 512GB). It comes with the integrated X24 LTE Modem.

Xperia 5 has three 12-megapixel cameras (26mm, 16mm, 52mm) with super wide-angle sensor and 2x optical zoom. It also has 4K HDR movie recording, RAW Noise Reduction, 5x digital zoom, HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography, Hybrid autofocus, 3D Creator, and Bokeh effect features. The Xperia has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Front camera features include HDR, Portrait Selfie Effects, SteadyShot, Display flash, 3D Creator, and more.

The phone measures 158x68x8.2mm and weigh 164 grams. Connectivity options on the Xperia 5 include Bluetooth v5, USB Type-C, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, Google Cast, and more. It’s a dual-sim smartphone and runs on Android Pie operating system.

Price

The price of the Xperia 5 hasn’t been unveiled as of yet, but it will be available from October 2019. Xperia 5 pre-orders will begin next week in across Europe. Pre-order customers will get WF1000XM3 truly wireless headphones. The Xperia 5 will be available in Black, Red, Blue, and Grey color options.
