TVS iQube: 1st Electric scooter from TVS

TVS iQube finally launched an electric scooter in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.15 Lakh which is currently available only in Banglore. This is a very personalized, eco-friendly and connected scooter that gives a great riding experience. There are anesthetics elements like glowing “electric” written over the drivetrain cover which looks cool. Now you can book this scooter at just Rs. 5,000 through its official website. The dry weight of this scooter is 118 Kg.

TVS iQube Specification

Talking about the engine of this electric scooter it has a BLDC motor of 4.4 KW that produces 6Bhp of power and 140 Nm of peak torque. TVS company claims that the top speed of this scooter is 78 Kmph and goes up to 75 km on a single charge. It goes 0-40 in just 4.2 sec but there is no fast charging support in this scooter. The TVS iQube comes with 3 Li-ion battery which is encase in high aluminum extrusion so the battery is water and dustproof. The company also claims a 3 years/ 50000 km warranty which is great. Talking about the styling and overall looks it looks fab because of Crystal-clear LED Headlamps and LED taillamps. There is a lot of features like- Q-park assist, Q-USB port with lights, Q-storage, and the TVS smart Xonnect.

The TVS Smart Xonnect shows lots of features like- Navigation Assist, Remote charge status, Incoming call alert, and Smart Statistics. The suspension setup is that much great because of telescopic suspension at the front and Hydraulic twin-tube shock absorber at the rear. On the front, you get a 220 mm disc brake and 130mm drum on the rear wheel.

Comparision

This is the best electric scooter at this price point with lots of features. It competes with Bajaj Chetak, and Ather 450.
